Claims Procedures


  1. Contact a preferred service centre with your AMI policy number to book an appointment, as soon as practicable, within 90 days of the occurrence.
  2. If the damage is deemed repairable, pay the $25 repair deductible. If the damage is not repairable, pay the $50 replacement deductible.
  3. If you are traveling and cannot attend a preferred service center for necessary repairs and/or replacements, your vehicle must be undriveable due to impaired vision or a missing piece of glass, please contact your issuing broker or AMI for the correct procedures to follow.
  4. The Insured has the right to choose a service provider. If you want to use your own service provider please contact AMI directly for the correct steps to take.
